Chartwell selects charities to support for 2010
RNLI & Bath Neonatal Intensive Care Unit - Our chosen charities for the year 2010. The Bath NICU are raising funds to help build a pioneering holistic NICU that will be sustainable, larger and provide highly beneficial healing with a supportive environment for both the babies and parents. At Chartwell we feel this is a very worthwhile cause and as a result will be organising fund raising activities throughout the year to support the charity. Unusually for Chartwell we are supporting two charities in one year as we felt it too difficult to choose between the Bath NICU and the RNLI.
RNLI - The RNLI has over 40,000 volunteers who work on lifeboats, at stations, on beaches and in fundraising. The RNLI is a independent charity with a board of volunteer trustees and as a result they rely on Fundraising appeals and the support they receive from their members.
